SUMMARY:3rd Annual Fort Osage CTC Spring Career Fair
DESCRIPTION:This event is free to participating organizations and lunch is provided. We'll have two sessions\, one from 8:45 to 10 a.m. and one from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Over 250 seniors will be in attendance. We're looking to partner with companies that have full-time\, part-time\, internship and volunteer positions available.\n\n\n\n   Dress for Success Workshop. Students will complete a workshop on professional attire the Monday prior to the fair. Some students may still be in "workshop uniform" depending on their program\, but a stronger emphasis is being placed on dress.\n\n   Resume/Portfolio. Students can work their instructor or the Recruitment/Placement Coordinator to create a resume and/or portfolio to bring to the career fair.\n\n   Later start time. \n\n   "Speed interview" sessions. We'll be hosting a unique workshop for select seniors. Speed interviews will be held prior to the A.M. and P.M. sessions\, with students completing up to three 3-minute interviews. This will give students an opportunity to interact with a variety of professionals\, receive constructive feedback and get experience with answering some of the most common interview questions.\n\n   Potential Fort Osage High School session. In order to reduce the amount of break time between A.M. and P.M. sessions we are working with the high school to offer a session from 10:15 to 10:45.
