DESCRIPTION:Kiwanis Annual Chili Day is set for Tuesday\, February 26\, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Stone Church\, 1021 W. Lexington/River Rd.\, Independence-just off the Square.  For $8\, dine-in will include homemade chili\, pie and a drink.  There is also take-out and delivery. \n\n \n\nThank you to our Premier Sponsor\, "Edward Jones" Michael Rowe and Corey Long and to our Chili Champions\, Scott Roberson\, DDS\, McDonald Auto Body and Cruise Planners.\n\n \n\n"This is our primary fund raiser\," said Mary House\, president of the Kiwanis Club of Independence. "Our chili is based on an old 'secret' recipe that was used in the Independence School District in the 1940s.  Our recipe hasn't changed much since then.  It's still great.
