Mr. McGee currently works as the Director of Community Relations at a Health Center in Kansas City. Legislator McGee previously served as the 2023 Chairman of the Jackson County Legislature. Mr. McGee was elected to two terms in the Missouri House of Representatives\, representing South Kansas City. Mr. McGee was also elected to House Leadership as Assistant Democratic Leader after one term. He was a member of the House Committee on Budget and served as the Ranking Democratic Member on the House Education Appropriations Committee. Prior to being elected\, Mr. McGee worked for Jackson County Government for five years as the Program Administrator for the Jackson County-COMBAT program.
