SUMMARY:Small Business Continuing Education Series: Distaster Planning for a Small Business
DESCRIPTION:When the worst happens\, be prepared. Join us for this seminar on basic disaster planning for small business owners. Rob O'Brian\, President of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce\, will present on best practices and recommendations on how businesses should prepare and respond. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Small Business Continuing Education Series is a free monthly service for Chamber Members and $15 for Non-Chamber members. Small businesses owners and managers are most often just too busy to get away for an all-day seminar to help them be better prepared to protect\, manage\, or grow their business. The Chamber's Small Business Continuing Education Series is an alternative to just not taking the time or not spending the money. The same presentation and discussion about the identified topic each month will occur three times on the day that the seminar is offered. The maximum attendance for each seminar session will be 25 so that there will be time for interaction and discussion related to the topic. Each offering of the Small Business Continuing Education Series will last no longer than 90 minutes and will start promptly at the advertised time. Presenters each month will be experts on the subject providing free consultation to Chamber members on the identified topic. All owners and managers of small businesses are encouraged to take advantage of one of the three sessions offered each month as a benefit of Chamber membership.\n\nAttendance is free for Chamber members\; but registration is requested..
