Tabitha's Closet is a nonprofit organization that serves families in the Independence area by providing clothing for children infant through high school. Tabitha's is just over 10 years old and has grown steadily in response to community needs and capacity to serve. During 2013-2014 school year\, over 2\,000 children received shoes\, socks\, underwear\, pants\, shirts and a coat through Tabitha's Closet. In recent years\, this effort has received growing support from other churches\, organizations\, service clubs and individuals. 100% of the profits from this tournament will go directly to Tabitha's to purchase shoes and clothing. The tournament is a 4 person scramble format open to both men and women with registration and continental breakfast beginning at 7:00 am and a shotgun start at 8:00 am. Player registration fee of $100.00 required by July 25 includes green fees and cart\, beverages\, snacks\, continental breakfast\, lunch\, door prizes\, contests and a raffle as well as additional contests that may be purchased during the event.
