Procurement officers from large companies and public entities tell the secrets of selling to them.
The intent of Business Procurement Day is to provide small business owners/mangers insight and direction into the specific steps they should take to be qualified to do business with the large employers and public entities.
Join the Chamber and over a dozen public organizations and large private employers in Eastern Jackson County from 9:00am to 3:30pm to learn how to become a qualified or approved vendor capable of selling goods and/or services to them.
The event will begin with a continental breakfast at 9:00 and at 9:30am, small businesses owners will then break into small groups to meet with the procurement officers of their choice from the private organizations represented.
At noon we will break for lunch and reconvene for the second part of the day at 1:00pm. At that point, the small business owners will have an opportunity to meet in small groups with the procurement officers of their choice from public organizations represented.
