Conserving Missouri Cemeteries
Every so often, one of Jackson County's more than 250 small pioneer and family cemeteries is threatened by development and progress. Local historian and preservationist David W. Jackson uses the historic Davis-Smith Cemetery as a case study on how to unearth details about these sacred spaces and ways to preserve them.
