Afro-American Women in HERstory
Sunday, March 3, 2024 | 3pm - 5pm | 10 min intermission | Chat Back Conversation w/ the Artist
Let us honor, celebrate, and say the names of three Afro-American Women in HERstory.
Learn and explore the journey of Afro-American Women from the 1800s-1900s and connect with an acrobatic pilot, jazz vocalist, and civil rights journalist. This will be performed in two artistic forms: visual art and storytelling; you do not want to miss this solo performance and exhibition showing on the 3rd floor by Resident Artist, Art Quilter, and Certified National Storyteller, Karen E. Griffin (KE).
