This year's Community Clean Up Day will take place on Monday, May 21st from 9am-11am for the general community, and 11:10am-1:50pm for the students from our local high schools.

High School Students from the 4 area high schools will be participating later in the day at other locations (Community members are not allowed to sign up in the student spots).
Location
There will be 6 different locations that the general community can choose from. All volunteers can go to SignUp Genius to sign up for a volunteer spot. 1. The Commuter Parking Lot on Hwy 40 near I-70 - The area being cleaned is a fenced area where trash gets caught and it can be seen from I-70. Meet at in the Commuter Lot just off Blue Ridge Blvd. 2. Hwy 40 & I-70 on the SW corner - The area being cleaned will be near the ramp coming off of I-70 East. There is a lot of trash accumulating in and around the Applebee's. Meet in the Walmart Parking lot right by Applebee's at 4181 Sterling Ave, KCMO 64133. 3. Noland Rd and 70 Hwy near Quality Inn and Suites. The area being cleaned is a fenced area that is accumulating quite a bit of debris. Meet in the Bandana's parking lot at 4140 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64055. 4. Hwy 291 & 37th Street - The area being cleaned can be seen from 291 northbound lane. Meet in the old bowling alley parking lot next to Foster Adopt Connect which is at 18600 E 37th Terrace S, Independence, MO 64057. 5. Hwy 291 & 23rd Street - The area being cleaned will start at the North East corner of the intersection and run north. Meet at the Community of Christ Church at 16999 East 23rd St S, Independence, MO 64057. 6. Hwy 291 and Truman Rd Interchange - The area being cleaned will be both sides of the clover leaf area coming down from 291 to Truman Rd. Meet at J Howard Automotive. 16509 E Truman Rd, Independence, MO 64050.
