Through original paintings, sketches and maps, join author Joy Poole as she recounts the journey of Dr. Rowland Willard along the Santa Fe Trail through Missouri and on to Taos and Chihuahua, Mexico. At Blue Springs, Willard met Hugh Glass, the legendary mountain man made famous in the film “The Revenant,” and recorded the many deformities Glass suffered from the legendary grizzly bear.
