Progressive Party

Join us for the 6th Annual Progressive Party-CLUE Edition! Enjoy food and drink from various Independence businesses while participating in a live game of CLUE! Sponsored by the Independence Chamber of Commerce and Independence EDC. All members and prospective members are welcome.

PLOT:  The local funeral director, Brad Speaks, was just murdered. His remains, in a yellow urn with his name engraved, just showed up on the Chamber front desk with a note that says “planned the murder- this is all I, well, leave.” It was obvious that this was not the scene of the crime and we can’t tell who did it, where the murder took place or what killed him. We are inviting all of the suspects to the Independence Chamber & EDC offices, under the ruse of a networking party, in the hopes of flushing out the murderer, where it happened and what weapon was used. Join us as Brad's twin brother, Inspector Sherlock Speaks, works diligently on solving the murder by the end of the night! But, can even he be trusted? We need all of you to attend undercover and help us find the murderer, the murder location and the weapon at the “CLUE” Progressive Party!

Each room in the Chamber will be the theme around the board game Clue with a character, murder location and weapon. There will be food and drink and fun stuff from a variety of Independence businesses and Independence Chamber and EDC members. Each person can vote for the room they like the best and the room with the most votes at the end of the night will be identified as the murderer, location and weapon. Additional votes can be purchased with proceeds benefiting Blair Foster Socks.  Bring a pair of new children's socks to donate and receive an extra vote for your favorite room!
