re:ART Festival
This is a two-day family-friendly arts festival organized by Englewood Arts benefitting Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity.
The festival will celebrate arts and culture and raise money for Englewood community improvement projects through the “Rock the Block,” a program sponsored by Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity.
There are many great activities planned:
-
Live music
-
Food trucks
-
Kids’ activities
Rock The Block ™:
Habitats’ Rock The Block ™ event concentrates hundreds of volunteers on clusters of homes in strategic neighborhoods, making needed repairs of all sizes.
The impact is striking, but it’s more than curb appeal that is restored.
Rock The Block helps restore pride in homeownership for the affected families and helps increase community connections along the way.
Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity chose the Englewood community for the Rock the Block program.
Upcycled Public Art
Artists and the community will build a public piece of art featuring upcycled materials designed by Amie Jacobsen during the fest. Join us in creating a one-of-a-kind community sculpture using items from Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore!
