RANDY & MARY'S BIO:
Randy and Mary have owned the Cruise Planners franchise in Independence for the past 17 years. Randy retired in 2018 as a Vice President after nearly 40 years of service at Saint Luke’s Health System. He is active in the Kiwanis Club of Independence, currently serving as treasurer and also serving on the board and as a past president. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

Mary, after 30 years in retail management, decided to start her own business. Love of travel led her to purchase a Cruise Planners franchise, a home-based travel agency. She has been a member of the Independence Chamber for 17 years and currently serves as treasurer, on the Chamber Board of Directors, and as a Chamber Ambassador. She also serves on the boards for the Child Abuse Prevention Association, Kiwanis Club of Independence, and is currently president of the Junior Service League. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
