Socks and Hops
We're at it again for year two! Join us for the 2nd Annual Socks and Hops, a night of craft beer and tasty bites benefiting our Healthcare for the Homeless Program and Mobile Medical Unit. Enjoy beer from local craft brewers paired with some of the best chefs in KC for a one of a kind evening full of tastes, sips, and community.
We have Kansas City's best local brewers lined up for our second year:
- Lost Trails Soda (nonalcoholic)
- The Big Rip Brewing Company
- Torn Label Brewing Co.
- Stockyards Brewing Co.
- Cinder Block Brewery
- Crane Brewing
- Double Shift Brewing Company
Our chefs are representing these local restaurants:
- Nothing Bundt Cakes
- Taste of Brazil
- The Bite
- The Sundry
- Farm to Market Bread Co
- Doughnut Lounge
We need socks! Please consider bringing new, warm socks to the event for our Healthcare for the Homeless mobile outreach program. We'll distribute them to the homeless individuals we treat in our clinics and on our Mobile Medical Unit. As winter approaches, we see an increasing number of individuals with frostbite. Injuries to feet are especially difficult to treat and can make it hard for people to be mobile. With limited mobility, accessing basic human services becomes more challenging. Protecting feet from the cold with warm, clean socks means the most vulnerable members of our community will still have access to these vital services.
