Virtual Diversity & Inclusion Workshop: Overcoming Unconscious Bias
We are excited to share news about a new partnership between the Independence Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce to increase awareness and discussion about diversity, equity and inclusion.
The next Virtual Diversity & Inclusion Workshop Series for this partnership will be a presentation called Overcoming Unconscious Bias. This will be presented by Henry E. Lyons, an implicit bias counselor, to learn the four steps people and businesses should take to manage unconscious biases. It will be held on June 22 from 11:30am-12:30pm via Zoom and is part of a larger Diversity & Inclusion Workshop Series. There is no charge to attend this event, however REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. A Zoom link will be sent from the KC Chamber of Commerce prior to the event.
This program is presented in partnership with the KC Chamber, Blue Springs Chamber, Independence Chamber, Liberty Chamber, Mid-American LGBT Chamber, Grandview Chamber and South Kansas City Chamber.
