Case Management Supervisor
Summary: Supervises Case Management Department in program and ensures youth have permanent adult/family connections upon completion of program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Interviews, trains, and supervises case managers, medical case manager, and admissions screener.
- Coordinates clinical review process (CQI) and ensures expectations are being met.
- Manages case management assignments (caseload).
- Assists case managers in case planning and reviewing and permanency planning.
- Oversees all aspects of case management, including written documentation.
- Manages administrative on-call rotation.
- Serves as member of KC Steppingstone Standards and Practice Team.
- Supports a trauma sensitive approach to case management practices.
- Completes agency training requirements.
- Oversees contractual obligations and outcomes as it relates to funding sources.
- Ensures team members are kept informed of service plan objectives.
- Serves as the primary contact for the CD Older Youth Specialist.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and at least two years related experience in case management and/or counseling. Must have a strong desire to work with adolescents, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a federal criminal background fingerprinting check, drug screen, and be at least 21 years of age.
